Twin Lakes RV Park is just 12 miles outside of Alpharetta, and has been welcoming recreational vehicles since the 1950s. The park is surrounded by many of Atlanta?s major landmarks so you can rest here after sightseeing. Atlanta Marietta RV Resort Park is conveniently located on the southern edge of Marietta, Georgia. The location is ideal for anyone wanting to be in Marietta, Smyrna, and Atlanta. Anyone with a 2004 RV or newer is welcome. Smaller RVs will fit very nicely here, and pets are also welcome. They offer full hookups and sites are mostly level. There is a swimming pool to cool off in. Drive slow in this cozy campground, there are lots of speed bumps. The location is handy to access the walking trails at Life University, and a great spot to watch airplanes take off from Dobbins Air Force Base. Not far off I-75, you are only minutes away from White Water, Six Flags and other attractions in the Atlanta area. Marietta, Georgia has all amenities, and you are never far from groceries, shopping, restaurants, and services. Take a quiet break at this shady campground.
The Silver Comet Trail
The Silver Comet Trail near Smyrna, Georgia is free of charge and a delightful place for an excursion. The trail that goes through three counties in Georgia is quiet, free of motors, and paved for easy movement. This is a favorite of hikers, horses, dog walkers, and many others. It is also wheelchair accessible. The trail is 61.5 miles long starting in Smyrna and ending at the state line with Alabama. The Silver Comet connects to the Chief Ladiga Trail at the state line. Both trails are fully paved and approximately 94.5 miles from Smyrna to Anniston, Alabama. The two trails are part of an effort by the PATH Foundation to build a network of off-road trails in and around Atlanta. This is a great place for the entire family or a group of friends to get some exercise on beautiful paths built for the residents and visitors in this area.
World class Broadway shows, musical, and dance performance can be found in this theater which was built in 1929, and inspired by Arabic architecture. In the Egyptian ballroom you will find influences from the temple of Ramses. The Ladies Lounge features a replica of the throne chair of King Tut.

Nearby attractions include Six Flags, Atlanta Zoo, and the Centennial Olympic Park. For the family RV rental trip there is a city park across the street.
