Discover Carrollton RV rentals for memorable road trips

Founded in 1829, the original name for Carrollton, GA, was intended to be “Troupville” in honor of a former governor, George Troup. However, this proved to be unpopular with the residents. In the end, the town council and residents settled on Carrollton in a nod to Charles Carroll, one of the signers of the Declaration of Independence. The inhabitants, notorious for stubbornness, resisted modern amenities for as long as they could. They didn’t get their first paved road until 1918.

The Great Outdoors

There are hundreds of wilderness parks dotting the Georgia state, and a travel trailer rental makes it easy to explore them all. The Chattahoochee Bend State Park is a modest 2,900-acre park with several redeeming features. The Chattahoochee River serpentines around the perimeter of the park, providing ample kayaking and fishing opportunities. The Wildlife Resource Division of Georgia State runs a loaner program, lending out rods, reels, and tackle. Anglers can expect to catch bass, trout, and catfish. There are several miles of hiking trails, one of which leads to a raised observation platform. A camper rental will be welcome here. Not only is the parking ample sized, the campground also has hookups and running water.

RV Parks

When you rent an RV in Carrollton, don’t forget to figure out where you’ll park while you explore the area or grab some sleep. In rural Georgia, there are oodles of campgrounds and RV parks with varying degrees of service and amenities.

Exploring the City

As rural as Carrollton is, there’s plenty of places to see and fun to be had in a luxury RV rental. Quilts are old fashioned and dated? Not necessarily. The Southeastern Quilt & Textile Museum sheds light on just how creative and modern quilts can be. The quilts hung on walls like art pieces, gives visitors a newfound appreciate into the time and labor that goes into creating these works of art. The use of colors and abstract shapes harken to the likes of Victor Vasarely and Piet Mondrian.

We had a wonderful experience with Kenneth's RV and will definitely rent from them again! They delivered and set up everything for us and had the camper stocked with all the things we needed. Our hosts were easy to communicate with and checked on us to make sure our experience and needs were met! We even enjoyed the recliners with the Roku TV when it rained during our stay on the campsite. It was a great home away from home, with a wonderful view right on the water.
