The Silver Pearl is a like-new, four season, 16 foot, 2017 Airstream Basecamp. She is perfect for a single traveler, couple, or very small family that wants to get away in style. Pearl has a minimalist concept suited for campers that spend most of their time outside of the trailer, yet enjoy the luxury of a private bath, ¾ kitchen, and interior bed. The tow-ability is another plus. At 3500 Gvwr, or about 2600 lbs empty, this trailer is about as light, easy to tow, and fuel efficient as they come. The intelligent design provides great vantage points from almost anywhere inside the Airstream. All of the curved glass has zippered windows that allow the 180 degree views to easily convert to 100% privacy.
The Silver Pearl’s bed is larger than most other Airstream models. The bed is almond shaped and, when set up, fills the stern of the trailer. The bed measures about 67” inches wide near the top and about 78” in width at the base and has a length of about 77”. So its about the size of a queen bed that narrows at the top.I list Pearl as a ¾ kitchen because her fridge may not stay as cold as I would like when it gets hot outside. In the summer time the refrigerator is great for storing fruits, veggies, breads and other items that do not need to be kept below 42 degrees. I recommend putting any food items that need to be kept below 42 degrees in the cooler on ice.There is an ac unit, furnace and a couple fans that blow air outside the camper. The ac requires shore power via the 30 amp plug in, while the furnace runs on propane. The side windows crack open and there is a screen door.What's includedThe kitchen has all the essentials including a two burner stove, microwave oven, and sink.
