This beauty will take you on so many adventures. We’ve loved every second in this converted van and want to share it with you! Dora is a brand new 2022 Thor Motor Coach Rize 18M. She has everything you would need. A great sized bed, a full bathroom, working kitchen with fridge/freezer and microwave, but most importantly comfy seats with a big windshield to enjoy the full view of the beautiful world you’re traveling.What's includedWe understand planning a trip can be stressful and we want to help minimize that stress in anyway we can. For that reason we include bodywash, shampoo, conditioner, toilet paper, shower towels, hand towels, hand soap, bedding (2 pillows, linens, comforter, blanket) all cleaned and dissinfected for each traveler. Please select the Linens package in the add ons to notify us if you’d like these stocked in the van for your trip.Dora comes with a full bathroom, there is a shower, cassette toilet, bathroom fold down sink, a mirrored medicine cabinet and outside shower spray attachment with hose and nozzle to spray off sand at the beach or anything you don’t want to bring back into the van with you.In the kitchen you will find plenty of cabinet space to store food, a kitchen sink, microwave oven, two burner gas stove top, a fridge/freezer, a tablet holder, slide out counter space and plenty of lighting.We also include all kitchen necessities, such as: a cookware set (pan and pot), plates, cups, soup cups, utensils, wash towels, sponge and dish soap. For your convenience we pre-stock some basic items, instant coffee, salt/pepper, 2.5 gallons of fresh water and sanitation wipes.In the living/bedroom the spacious two person sofa has seatbelts underneath the cushions to allow for 4 passengers to safely travel. Over top of the sofa are three interconnected storage bins for all your belongings. An entertainment hookup is also located in the compartment to place a DVD player attaching to the tablet holder located in the kitchen. The couch folds out into a spacious two person bed which comfortably sleeps individuals 6’3 and below (tested and approved by my husband). Pull down blinds and window coverings are included and stored about the driving cabin.Located towards the driving cabin is a removable table which can be used for dining or board games. Both pilot chairs swivel to face the living room to allow seating for 4 when dining or having a family game night.Dora is listed as seats 4, sleeps 2. For this reason, we will include a 3 person tent and sleeping bags with blow up sleeping pads, completely free, so everyone who rides with Dora can sleep comfortably wherever she takes you.Dora is a front wheel drive vehicle to allow for more storage underneath for a built in generator, propane and freshwater/grey water tanks. This makes it possible for the van to have a smaller design to drive easier and fit into tighter spots. The AC unit on top will keep the cabin as cool as you want the furnace will keep it as toasty as you’d like. With built in digital displays you can simply set your thermostat and not worry any further. With an onboard water heater, there’s no need to worry about cold showers. Also located on top is a solar panel to keep the batteries on board fully charged at all times. This allows electricity to flow 24/7 to charge all your devices. Wifi is also available onboard upon request with the latest winegard 2.0 unit for an additional charge.Located on the outside is a 10ft electric awning, (you simply push the button and it pops out on its own) a bike rack for two, a gas hook up underneath the sliding door for external stoves and a screen that covers the sliding door to prevent bugs from getting into your living space but allowing easy access and fresh air. There is lighting on the awning to allow enjoyment through the night as well as lighting by the electrical and water hook ups.First aid kit

Jaden was a phenomenal and communicative host. Everything was seamless and it made our trip excellent! If we had any questions, he would always respond very quickly. This might be our favorite vacation yet, and our favorite new way to travel. The bed in Dora was incredibly comfortable for 2 people. We slept very well each night (even with 4am wakeups). Set up and breakdown was super easy (maybe 10 minutes each time?) Easy to drive, the van fits in pretty much any parking space in town - another huge plus. Cooking was super easy, too. We made dinner in the van most nights, including steak and potatoes (pictured). The van has everything you need, with ample storage. Each picture is from a different place that we parked. We spent ~11 days in the van and felt like we could have done more which I think speaks volumes to the van and the host :)

Are there any special tricks and tips that would help with operating the RV easily?

A.

Our vans are very beginner-friendly and designed to be easy to operate. We’ll walk you through everything, including driving tips, hookups, and how to use all features inside the van. It drives like a large SUV/van so take turns wide and allow extra stopping distance, double-check height clearance before entering garages or drive-thrus, use hookups when available, but the van is fully functional off-grid as well. We’re always just a message away if you have questions during your rental.

How do the electric, water and sewage hook up work while setting up at the campground?

A.

Hookups are simple! Plug the power cord into the campsite outlet, connect the water hose to the city water connection, and attach the sewer hose when needed. We’ll walk you through everything at pickup, and all connections are labeled for easy use. The van can also run without hookups (off-grid) if needed. Let us know whether you will have hookups or are planning to go off-grid, so we can better walk you through the necessary information.

What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?

A.

Standard pickup is 3 PM and drop-off is 11 AM. We are flexible when possible—early pickup or late return may be available depending on the schedule. Please message us in advance to coordinate timing, and we’ll do our best to accommodate your trip!
