The Smittybilt Scout trailer features independent suspension with dual shocks for easy overlanding and a load capacity of 1763 lbs. With an inside compartment measuring a spacious 47" x 44" x 21", you’ll spend less time packing and all of your equipment will stay dry and safe.
We took the off-road capability of the Scout and then custom outfitted it to include:
Custom rear spare tire carrier and jack mounts for better weight distribution
Lock and Roll Hitch system (rattle-free off-road hitch)
An onboard 12v pressurized water system (20 gal Capacity)
On-demand water heater/shower
Onboard Propane
12 Volt 100 AmpHr battery LiFEPo4 setup with 220-watt solar set-up
30amp DC to DC charger (needs Factory 7 pin RV connector to Charge while driving)
4 USB ports to charge accessories

We had such a great time on our trip! The trailer could handle anything our Jeep could, and we were able to get far away from people and enjoy a beautiful remote campsite. The trailer had great features like running hot/cold water, a refrigerator, and lots of electrical hookup options. It rained pretty heavily on us, but the tent and awning fought off the water and kept us dry. We'll absolutely rent this trailer again!
