This is the enviable HC1 - Happier Camper 13 ft fiberglass modular trailer. There is a queen bed and single with kitchenette to keep you cozy and happy on your adventures. The top half is white and the bottom half is Fern Green - which is how she gets her name: Fern the Camper. She has the 'off grid' solar package - a 100 watt flex panel is atop her roof and gives a good amount of power with a 600 watt max output for usbs, 12v, and 120v plugs (the ones in black by the door). Her inside lights and porch light also run by solar, so there is no real need for shore power, keeping your camping experience more authentic and... natural! The back holds a queen sized 'bed' with modular seats and tables that convert into a dining room when needed. The front holds a single sized bed for one, and the cooler is under one of the modules there. Between the beds in the kitchenette - a sink, worktop, and propane double hob. There is also a small fire extinguisher under the sink for emergencies!New in 2019, her production date was scheduled for "Spring 2019" straight from the HC1 factory. She still smells new!Need a tow vehicle? We pull her with a 2018 Ford Ecosport which you can also rent. If you have your own vehicle, it will need a 7 point pin connection for the trailer brakes (yes, this trailer has trailer brakes!) and a 2" ball. You will need a vehicle that is cleared to tow at least 1300lbs as well as having the correct hitch. What TO Bring:-All the clothes you think you'll need (and a few extra for emergencies)
-Your personal toiletries
-Food (including cooking oils and sauces you like to use)
-Drinking water
-Hiking day packs - for those who like to explore

Hello! We love the outdoors and are ready to share that experience with you! We ordered our HC1 (Happier Camper) late in 2018 in a move to get out of the tent (after all, our backs couldn't rough it the way we used to) and into something with a little more comfort without losing the connection to our surroundings. We loved the vintage look of older campers, but not the repairs, so when we saw the Happier Camper with its modular systems and classic lines, we knew it was for us!
We put in a special order for an off grid system with a solar panel on the roof, a kitchenette and queen bed with single in this little but adaptable 12' trailer. Do look at the videos on our youtube channel and you'll see the Happier Camper is unlike anything you've likely seen before. She's being assembled for us in the factory now and won't be ready to roll until late Spring 2019. Fern (yes, we named her already) should keep you comfortable and clean in your adventures with her.
Even though the Happier Camper ultra light (1,100 dry weight), it has a 7-pin connector and it's own brakes - an added safety feature that comes in handy certainly when hitting the mountains.
You will need a 7-pin connector and 2" ball hitch, and your tow vehicle will need to be cleared for towing 1,300 lbs, but if you're not set up for that, no problem! We also have a tow vehicle you can rent with Fern. She's a 2018 Ford EcoSport and you'll love the views from her windows and sunroof while you explore the nation's most beautiful National Parks.
If you booked Fern and wanted something memorable, get yourself a tee-shirt or mug at our store:
