2003 Dodge Sprinter Van
I converted a high top Sprinter Passenger Van so there's full standing room, and panoramic views on all sides, perfect for camping in beautiful spots. But with inconspicuous, white, pull down, shades, it converts easily into a nondescript workman's van, perfect for stealth camping, and parking for free, without attracting attention. It's a hand-built, minimalist conversion, with ultra simple plumbing and sink. No dealing with Black Water tanks! Instead a simple camping toilet stool with a plastic bag you throw away at the end for #2, and a pee bottle for #1 with a sterilized pee funnel for females. (See Pix) Also, a very simple shower system, where you pour warm water into a spray bottle, and stand in a small paddle pool. Spray bottles are so efficient and precise you don't even need a curtain, just pour the water in the paddle pool outside. Saves water, and won't cause any plumbing problems. :)Brand new 200 watt solar system, feeding two brand new deep cycle batteries, and brand new Dometic pull out fridge, with a freezer compartment. Also, new LED color lighting, stereo, ceiling fan, stove, and enough kitchen stuff for two. Engine also charges the house battery bank.Despite it's minimalism, it converts easily to different uses. A day lounge set that can seat 8-10 people with a walkway between two opposing sofas, a moving swivel table, and 2 swivel captain chairs. A night mode, by folding the sofas together to make a huge bed. And stealth mode with blinds down, captain chairs facing forward with blackout curtain behind them for total privacy. Also an astroturf sun deck on roof-rack.It's the older model Sprinter, but actually they have the best engines, averaging 400,000 miles, and this has been particularly well maintained so well over half it's life left. Plus, it gets an amazing 22 miles per gallon, so cheap to run. What's included2 x camp chairs, linens, camp stove, Dometic fridge & freezer, gas heater, CO2 alarm, tools, spare wheel, car jack, jumper cables,RecommendationsIt's now summer, the National Parks are opening up again, and it's a great time to go camping in California, with all it's spectacular landscape, from Yosemite Valley to Sequoia National Park, to campsites on lakes, forests and beaches.

It’s a pretty tough vehicle, but please don’t thrash it. It’s not a sports car, so don’t speed, or a 4WD, so don’t do any crazy off-roading, or a truck so don’t over load it.
