San Juan islands are a beautiful destination, plus a trip to the islands includes a ferry ride that adds to the adventure! Whidbey Island (no ferry needed) is a favorite also with an overnight stay or day trip to Deception Pass with its breathtaking ocean side views, especially at sunset. We also really enjoy driving the mountain pass to Winthrop, another great place to stay and enjoy the river, the town and hiking trails.

Other things to note

Creamsicle is for you to use and enjoy fully but please do so with care. We ask that you return Creamsicle in the same condition that the van was when you picked it up. We understand a little sand on the floor as a good sign that you had some fun, but please remove garbage, remove food from the fridge, place all the various things back clean and neat as they were when you found them. Most importantly, ENJOY THE VAN, make some memories and have an awesome adventure!

Everything about the Creamsicle experience was fantastic! The van was so well equipped and fun to drive. Heidi and Aaron were extremely helpful. The how-to videos were especially good for Westfalia novices. Highly recommended for an adventure.

The van was delivered to my front door, Aaron went through and explained every part of the van. My friends and I had the trip of a lifetime, the van was perfect. All three of us on the trip said we want to now buy the same kind of van. Everything was clean and worked perfectly. I highly recommend the Creamsicle, everywhere we went we got compliments on the van. The owners could not have been more nice and very easy communication.

Aaron and Heidi were so great! Easy and very helpful to work with.

The van itself was just as amazing as the photos. The best part was the built in iPad with a ton of instructional videos on how to use the various amenities. Would recommend!

We had a fantastic and fun trip exploring the Cascade Mountains in Creamsicle. Aaron and Heidi were super easy to work with--- we had to pick up Creamsicle early, drop of late. No problem! Creamsicle, despite her age, proved to be a workhorse. There were no mechanical issues, but LOTS of interest from onlookers who reminisced about the Golden Age of VW touring.

Everything was awesome. Creamsicle was all-around great. Clean. As advertised. Roomy. So fun to drive, too. My only gripe is that I didn’t rent it for one more day.
