The Great Outdoors

While camping at Double R Ranch Campground, you'll be in proximity to Lake Michigan and the numerous state parks that line its shores. Relatively small in size but big in spirit, Grand Haven State Park is an hour's drive west of the campground and features stunning beaches, a fishing pier, idyllic swimming areas, nature trails, and a cozy campground. Visitors can comb the sandy shores for washed-up lake treasures, and kids can enjoy the playground. This stunning lakeside park is a great place to spend the day when you rent an RV near Grand Rapids.Just ten miles north of Grand Haven, PJ Hoffmaster State Park is also on the shores of Lake Michigan and is known for its magnificent dunes overlooking the water. Do the RVs have bathrooms?

Yes. Class A’s, Class B’s, and Class C’s and five-Wheels typically have bathrooms. Depending on where you plan on camping, you’ll want to double-check the availability of restrooms if selecting a rig without a bathroom. Nervous about renting an RV with a bathroom? Owners can help show you how to clean the tank or will offer to do it for you for a fee.

How does check-in work?

A.

Once an Owner approves your RV reservation, you can coordinate a time to pick up your rig or have it delivered to your doorstep or campsite. At that point, the owner will do a key exchange with you and walk you through the RV and answer any questions you might have.
