On the edge of Lake Michigan in western Michigan, Warren Dunes State Park is an excellent place to camp in an RV. The park is located close to the Indiana-Michigan state line, within 90 minutes' drive of Chicago.Rent an RV near Sawyer, and you can settle into one of the campsites at Warren Dunes Campground. Surrounded by lush woodlands and within proximity to the beach, the campsites can accommodate tents and RVs and come with electric hookups, picnic tables, and fire rings. Some sites offer sewer connections, too. Showers and restrooms are located in each campground loop as well.When you camp at Warren Dunes Campground, there is much more to do than simply staying the night. A short walk through towering sand dunes is all it takes to get to the splendid beaches of Lake Michigan, where swimming, fishing, and kayaking are common pastimes. Bring a picnic lunch, and you can while away a day at the vast beach, building sandcastles and exploring the sprawling shoreline. Hiking paths, a dog walking beach, a convenience store, a gift shop, and many other fun features await when you go camping at Warren Dunes State Park.
