Pomme de Terre State Park is located on the shore of Pomme de Terre Lake, less than an hour's drive west of the campsites at Bennett Spring State Park. There are several resorts and campgrounds on the shore of the lake, and beautiful swimming beaches where you can relax and cool off on hot summer days. The lake has a marina, boat ramp, and fishing area. Here you can fish for bass, walleye, catfish, crappie, and muskie. Around the lake, you can enjoy multi-purpose trails ideal for hiking and bicycling while enjoying the scenic view.Lake of the Ozarks State Park is a popular natural area, located on the shore of the famous Lake of the Ozarks. On the lake, you can enjoy swimming beaches, fishing areas, and picnic shelters. There are also marinas and boat ramps available and a lot of opportunities for boating, kayaking, and canoeing. Explore the multi-purpose trails around the lake where you can go hiking, biking, horseback riding, and nature viewing.
