Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the scenic lodge was once an administrative center and luxury retreat for Union Electric. Now it’s open to the public, and you can walk the grounds and relish the lakeside views at your leisure. Inside the building, you can find a visitor center, the Lake Area Chamber of Commerce, and the Bagnell Dam Museum. The museum features interactive exhibitions that will keep the kids entertained. The display also hosts the original tools used during the construction of the dam, and enough documents and photographs to impress the history buffs.When you’re camping at Lake Ozark RV Park, the quiet towns of Lake Ozark and Osage Beach are just minutes away, but you’ll also be within a short drive of the county seat, Camdenton.
