Our camper van, Sage, is a 2008 Mercedes Sprinter 170" wheelbase. It seats 3 adults in a bench seat, but would comfortably sleep 2 with an extended full mattress. It is the perfect vehicle for the weekend getaway to the mountains or beach. We will provide two 6-gallon city water tanks for the sink, as well as one 6 gallon grey water tank. Three 100-watt solar panels keep the batteries well charged during sunny days, more than enough to run the LED lighting, 2 overhead ceiling fans, and an inverter to charge phones or other small devices.
We love camping with our Golden Retriever, so the van is pet-friendly. At night there is plenty of space to put a dog bed and let your furry friend sleep just beneath your feet as you stay well insulated from the outdoors.
The garage in the back of the van has more than enough storage to bring all of your camping gear with you, and we can provide everything you may need at an extra cost if needed.
What's included
Included in the rental are; fresh linens (pillows upon request), silverware, 4 plastic glasses, basic kitchen utensils (can opener, scissors, pots/pans, etc.), and an emergency luggable loo.
Recommendations
We highly recommend traveling up the coast or to the desert for a relaxing getaway. Some of our favorites are Jalama Beach, Rincon, Joshua Tree, and Big Sur. The van is 2wd so no off-roading. Enjoy living off the grid as the van is currently not set up to connect to shore power.
Other things to note
Return the van with the same amount of diesel as you left with. DO NOT FILL UP WITH REGULAR GASOLINE. Only Diesel. No Smoking. Dogs will be allowed with pre-approval. Late fee of $100/hr for every hour past return time of 5 pm. Please treat Sage with care, as it is our family camper that we love and wanted to share with you!

Everything went awesome with my first "van life" experience thanks to renting "Sage". We drove a good amount for such a short trip and used the van as our home base for a long day hike trip in the Sierras. We got multiple compliments on it from other hikers and campers. The bed was comfortable, the solar lighting was great, the sink access was great and like I said the drive was easy even for someone who had never driven a sprinter before. Definitely hope to rent again!

My boyfriend and I had a great experience with this camper van! It was clean, easy to drive and so much fun & filled with all the thing you need camping ! Chad was easy to work with and accommodating, he and his wife are the cutest and so so sweet! We will definitely rent from them again! Can’t wait!!
