Rules and policies
Pickup
I will work with you to arrange the most convenient pickup time possible, and will try to maximize your use of the trailer. I also hate those "3 pm check-in/11 am checkout" arrangements. Once you arrive to pick up the trailer, I will inspect your tow vehicle to verify the hookup and then walk you through the operation of the features of the trailer. The process will take from 30 minutes to an hour depending on your questions.
Off-Road Use
Even though the trailer is very capable of handling it, Outdoorsy insurance does NOT cover any damage that occurs during "off-road" use. Their policy states: "All rentals may only be used on those public roadways with sufficient width and clearance to allow the rental to be operated safely and without damage. Under no circumstances may the rental be operated in rugged terrain or used in the sport of off-roading".
Consumables:
I will fill all propane and water tanks before your rental. You don’t have to fill them as usage is included in the rental. I will also make sure the battery is 100% charged and ready for a weekend getaway.
Cleaning & Return
Use the DustBuster and included towels to clean up loose dirt and litter. No need to worry about washing the exterior prior to return. However, there will be a $70 cleaning charge for excessive/caked on mud/dirt or if the galley area is not reasonably clean after use, or all trash is not disposed of prior to return.

What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?

Normal Dropoff and pickup time is 3 pm but depending on the circumstances, I will work with you to maximize your time with the rental. If the trailer is available, I can sometimes offer an "early" pickup in the morning of the day of rental for an additional fee.
Q.
How long can I stay "off grid"?
A.
The trailer has a large battery which charges while you drive (if using 7-pin connector). While camping in the wilderness the battery will easily last 3-5 days of water pump, water heater, lights, and charging laptops and cell phones. For longer stays, opt to add the solar panel that will keep the battery charged indefinitely (as long as there is sun!).
