The Lightweight-Starcraft Comet 1019
The Lightweight-Starcraft Comet 1019

Fully stocked and ready to go on your adventure! Forest River made the super lightweight 20' R-Pod to be pulled by "whatever you have in the driveway" including SUVs and some Minivans. It will come packed with linens, towels, soap, shampoo, dishes, pots and pans, utensils, french press, salt & pepper, oil, camp chairs, toilet paper, paper towels, etc. All you need to do is bring your groceries and yourself! The layout of this particular R-Pod is conducive to an easy going and relaxing trip including lots of storage for your things and a slide-out for space to move around. The kitchen is situated at the back by the door with TONS of counter space and a work area for the cook that is not in the walkway (genius). Three way refrigerator (gas, battery, electric), convection microwave, furnace, A/C, TV, DVD, Bluetooth audio, outdoor speakers, outdoor shower, outdoor gas line for camp stove, toilet, shower and sleeping for four. There is a permanent queen bed and the dinette folds into a full sized bed (which we have memory foam for so you don't have to worry about comfort). With a 35 gallon fresh water tank, this thing works great for dry camping , but it also has all the modern amenities if you prefer to go to an RV Park with hookups. If you are interested in a video tour go here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MmL1402TiWM. Thanks for looking!
Trailer must be returned clean and black/gray water tank emptied. There are very convenient locations within 10 miles to dump, please ask for details. If it is returned dirty and tanks are not emptied there is a $60 fee.

We are new to trailering, and Julie and Dan were kind, patient, and knowledgable hosts. They provided a video to help orient us to the trailer, and despite being in the midst of a firefighting deployment, Dan took the time to call and help me understand a concern I had with the propane tank. They were excellent hosts for our first trailer camping outing. The R-Pod lived-up to its adventure potential, and even in the high winds of a freak September snow-storm in Joe's Valley Reservoir, it was a solid, secure shelter. The kitchen layout worked well for us, and the three fuel source fridge kept our groceries cool despite hundred degree heat.

We were camping off the grid in southern Utah for 5 days and the R-Pod was just what we needed! Julie was so helpful and great to communicate with. The R-Pod was well-stocked with everything we needed and provided a great space for when we needed to escape the heat and wind. 10/10 would recommend!

Great owners - wonderful to work with and they really want you to enjoy your trip in their delightful trailer. The trailer was lightweight with a fantastic layout and though we couldn't get our trailer brake controller to work with the trailer, the owners sway bar and hitch gave ample stability. We camped off the grid for 8 days, moving camp sites most nights, so the solar panels were a real power lifesaver. We had struggles with the toilet but fortunately the owner had a snake in the storage compartment. Can't say enough how much we loved the layout and terrific owners!

We had the most amazing trip through southern Utah and Arizona with the R-Pod! Julie & her husband were very responsive, flexible and accommodating throughout the entire process. The trailer had ample amount of room for my husband and myself and our dog and was equipped with the essentials- bedding, towels, cooking ware, etc. Was extremely nice to have a place to warm up in, cook a delicious meal and relax with the colder Fall night temperatures. We did dry camp. Would highly recommend!
