Nature's Own RV Resort is located in Kingsville, TX, which is in the southeast portion of this very large state. The town is located near the coast, sitting only around 60 miles from the Gulf of Mexico. The nearest larger town is Corpus Christi, at around 50 miles to the north, while the nearest large city is San Antonio, around 150 miles to the northwest.

Nature's Own RV Resort provides a swimming pool, hot tub, and WiFi for guests. Campsites that offer a variety of hookups are also offered. There are bathrooms, showers, a laundry facility, and a kitchen available for your use. There is also a game and exercise room, a playground for the kids, and pets are welcome, as well. The park can accommodate both short and lengthy stays, so they are good for vacationers and snowbirds alike.

With a stay at this family-friendly campground in southeastern Texas, it should be no trouble to locate any services you may find yourself needing. This is a fairly large town, so there are plenty of gas stations and grocery stores scattered around it. These all make for good places to resupply anything you find yourself running low on. The Great Outdoors

Motorhome camping at Nature's Own RV Resort makes it easy to enjoy many different outdoor activities. Visit the King Ranch that is located nearby. This is known as one of the largest ranches in the world, and it offers guided tours. Observe the daily workings of the ranch as well as see the many animals that live here. In addition to livestock, you may see wild critters as well, such as alligators or even armadillos! There is also a Visitor's Center and small museum on-site that gives the history of the establishment.

As the Gulf of Mexico is close by, it offers plenty of recreational activities to enjoy. You can sun yourself, walk along the beaches or go swimming in the shallows. There are piers for fishing as well as sightseeing and fishing boat tours. You will never be bored when you visit this scenic area.

Padre Island is located not far from the campground. There are many different animal activities to enjoy here, such as Sea Turtle, Inc. This is a sanctuary and hospital for sea turtles in the local area. Educational information is provided on the animals, as well. You can also visit the South Padre Island Birding and Nature Center. This destination offers a long boardwalk through the local sea marsh and chances to view both this ecosystem as well as the nearby sandy beach. Sea birds and waterfowl are the primary attraction here, though you may get lucky and see an alligator as well!

Exploring the Area

Book an RV in Kleberg County, and you will find yourself surrounded by activities that will be fun for everyone in the family. There are some museums and historical sites located in town. The John E. Conner Museum focuses on the animals and plants that are native to the local area. You can also check out the 1904 Train Depot. This former train station has been restored and turned into a museum that discusses the history of the railroad industry and its impact on the local area. You can also watch modern trains putter by on the tracks outside that are still in use. RV camping at this campground makes it easy to reach all the unique local attractions.

The Schlitterbahn Beach Waterpark is located on Padre Island and features both indoor and outdoor attractions. Here you can enjoy a wave pool, be excited by water coasters or relax in a tube on a lazy river. There are also shows to watch and participate in and a zip line that allows you a birds-eye-view of the park and the surrounding area. There are several restaurants and concession stands for when you get hungry, as well.

Gravity Park is also on Padre Island. It offers a mini-golf course, trampolines, a climbing wall, go-karts, and an arcade. You can also visit the Largest Outdoor Sandcastle in the USA, which is found on the island, as well. This artistic creation was first constructed in 2013 and has been a constant, local figure since. It is rebuilt on a regular basis featuring various themes.
