RV rental Poole, ENG: Motorhome rentals, camper van rentals and more

Fringed by long sandy beaches and clear water, Poole is a paradise for British sunseekers. Sandbanks is the signature beach and will win you over with a two-mile swath of golden sand. Take a stroll along the beach to admire some of the most expensive properties in the UK. For a laidback atmosphere, take a ferry across the harbor and catch rays at secluded Shell Bay. Beach sunsets are best enjoyed with a glass of wine and a generous serving of Dorset Blue Vinney cheese. Boat trips are a signature Poole experience and offer a unique chance to explore the harbor from a different perspective. You'll get fantastic views of the offshore islands, as well as the rolling Purbeck Hills. Brownsea is the largest island and offers a glimpse of Poole's wild side. Wooded trails crisscross the island and are great for spotting local wildlife like red squirrels. Don't miss the chance to peer into Brownsea Castle, a 16th-century stronghold that's been reimagined as a luxury hotel. Other trips sail south to the upmarket resort town of Swanage, showcasing spectacular views of the towering Old Harry Rocks chalk stacks along the way. An easy 10-mile drive from Poole, Hartland Moore National Nature Reserve protects the hilltop ruins of Corfe Castle. Spend the day exploring the park and take a ride on the heritage steam railway to Swanage. Botanists shouldn't miss Compton Acres, a gorgeous privately-owned garden where you can admire pastel-colored roses, wander through sun-dappled woodlands, and enjoy a quiet moment of contemplation in the Japanese tea house.
