Jacqui Breslin recently got to go on the trip of a lifetime, which included an extra special surprise.

The story starts when she and her boyfriend Anthony headed off in a Class C Outdoorsy RV to explore the gorgeous state of California. The rest of the story — well, we’ll let Breslin tell us in her own words.

“The trip was absolutely amazing in every single way,” she says. “We were able to see all of the ‘faces’ of California and everything in between, because we drove through it in our homey mobile hotel.”

“We first visited Felton and the Henry Cowell State Park. We then headed to Santa Cruz to eat the most delicious calamari we have ever eaten at The Crow’s Nest restaurant. Then, we went to Big Sur and hiked Mt. Manuel — by accident. We had to turn around four hours later when we ran out of water.”

“After Big Sur we headed to Moss Landing, where we had a beautiful beach day and ate the most delicious fried artichokes we have ever had, and then we bought some local art from the Haute Enchilada.”

“Then we headed to Yosemite. It was amazing because the ride was so much fun. We saw so many different landscapes while we chatted, ate sandwiches, and jammed out to our favorite music. In Yosemite we hiked Vernal Falls, where we saw an amazing rainbow.”

“The next day we hiked a mile to find the Sequoias in the Mariposa Grove. Anthony is a big guy, and he told me that he wanted to ‘feel small’ on the trip. Well, he definitely did next to those amazing trees!”

“We headed back up to Napa afterward for a tour and tasting of sparkling wine at Domaine Carneros. It was by far the best trip of our lives!”

It was an amazing, adventure-packed weeklong trip, but Anthony had something even more incredible planned. “At one point, Anthony took me to the biggest redwood in Henry Cowell State Park in Felton and asked me to be his wife,” Breslin shares. “It was such an amazing experience, especially because the redwood is a symbol of longevity and support.”

Of course, none of this would have been possible without the RV that took them everywhere they went. “I absolutely loved the RV owners,” Breslin says. “They were so kind and thorough, and they truly cared about our trip. They made sure that we had and knew everything that we needed before we ventured off.”

“The Outdoorsy site was also very user-friendly and had great suggestions. Lastly, the RV was completely stocked with all of the amenities that we could need, so we didn’t have to worry about anything but food, and we could feel right at home as soon as we hit the road.”

After such a magical trip, you can bet the happy couple will be recommending Outdoorsy to others. In fact, they even have plans for another trip in the future. “We would love to go out to California again simply because we loved John and Claudia (the owners),” Jacqui shares. “We have already been discussing a new location to venture out to, where we can use Outdoorsy again.”

All about Jacqui Breslin

Favorite morning beverage:
“Coffee — and only coffee! Claudia and John even asked us if we drank coffee so that we could have the RV set and loaded it with a fresh cup when we arrived to pick up the RV!”

Favorite campsite meal:
“S’mores. We had so many on our trip!”

Music you like to play on the radio:
“We love all types of music, but we played Winnebago by Gryffin (feat. Quinn XCII) more than a couple of times just to celebrate our RV trip.”

Best game to play on the road or at your campsite:
“We played Bocce Ball with stones and it was surprisingly a load of fun. It was just the two of us throwing rocks, and we had a ball!”

Favorite season:
“Spring. Our wedding is scheduled for Spring 2021!”

What’s your Outdoorsy spirit animal?
“A bird, because I felt so free to go anywhere in our RV.”

If you could travel anywhere in an RV, where would you go?
“Maine or Massachusetts. We did one coast and we would love to see the other.”
