A fan of the “van life” adventures so many of us like to follow on social media, owner Bon Neovakul decided to get a taste of those adventures himself. “I’ve always wanted a campervan to visit all the national parks and beaches,” he tells us. “I chose my Solis because of its size. I can park in a regular parking space and it is easy to drive, but has everything I need: bathroom, kitchen, shower, toilet, and sleeps 4.”

He got his tiny RV and immediately headed out on some exciting road trips. His favorite? “I loved driving to the Oregon coast with my Bernedoodle pup and exploring,” he says.

That said, Bon knew he couldn’t live in the RV full-time, so sharing the experience with others is what made sense. “I knew I would be renting it when I bought it,” he explained. “I wanted other people to experience the van life, and since I work at home, I’m able to clean the van and get it ready for my renter. I also wanted to have extra income since I won’t be using the campervan all the time.”

So far, this is working out nicely for Bon. “I had rental requests within a week of listing,” he recalls. “At this point, I’ve earned about $6,000 so far in less than 3 months. I was booked almost every day in October. If this continues to go well, I’m looking to get another rental RV in another city next year.”

You see, Bon has a goal of sharing the traveling lifestyle with as many people as possible, and the more rental units he has, the more he can do that. “I hope to give renters the van life experience you see on social media,” he tells us. “To enjoy the outdoors and explore many new places.”
