So grab a glass of warm cider, rent a campervan or Class C that fits the whole family, and head to Halloween-themed festivals until your fall fix is properly satiated.

Where to camp: Bayport RV Park and Campground

Any place that’s bold enough to call itself THE pumpkin patch is a must-see. This Oregon tradition is on a river island that’s easily accessible via the Sauvie Island Bridge. The Patch features an animal barn, a massive corn maze, homemade hard cider, and — of course — all the pumpkins you can pick.

Sauvie Island is a beautiful spot near Portland that can also serve as a jumping-off point for a fall RV trip along the Oregon coast.

This Halloween spectacular features 5,000 carved pumpkins and a ⅓-mile walking trail that transforms into an illuminated art show as soon as the sun sets on Iroquois State Park. The event runs from dusk to 11 pm Sunday through Thursday, and dusk to midnight on Friday and Saturday nights.
