Exploring the City

Portland is perhaps best known as Seattle's smaller, quirkier cousin. The city's dedication to uniqueness has lent itself to a rich and artsy culture. Popular attractions include Powell’s Books, which spans an entire city block, the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry (OMSI), the Portland Zoo, and a wide variety of art galleries.

The Great Outdoors

Venture into the vast PNW wilderness to experience some of Oregon's best outdoor attractions. Start close to the city with a visit to The Lower Macleay Park to Pittock Mansion trail. Hike the five-mile path to reach the historic Pittock Mansion. Stroll through the park-like gardens, tour the estate, and explore the exhibits highlighting early-20th-century heirlooms. Prefer to stick to the outdoors during your hike? Bypass the mansion by traversing the Wildwood Trail and Lower Macleay Loop.

We took the trailer about 130 miles to Odell Lake. James got us set up with the hitch and wiring and all the associated safety stuff and everything worked well. At the campsite, it was easy to level and get it set up for our 4 days by the lake. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was convenient and the opportunity to shower was much appreciated. We didn't have campground power or water, and with careful use we had plenty of propane and enough battery power for the trip. It was handy to be able to charge up our phones on the battery power of the trailer. The grey/black water cleanout procedure was well described, and that worked fine when we got back to civilization. The only suggestion we'd make is the kitchen was a little thin on pots/pans and plates/bowls. All in all, a great trip. Thanks James!

We had a great time in the Pacific Wonder Van seeing a tour of Northern California! Van was super clean and well kept. It drives well and was easy to use. Jennifer and Jason were great to work with. They had it well stocked with dishes and basics (salt, pepper, oil, coffee). Mattress topper was a great addition. Storage can be a little tricky so make sure you bring bags. Medium roof van worked great for the two of us (both under 5'7"). Thanks for a great trip!

Our family trip to central Oregon was outstanding! Taylor and Tyson are wonderful hosts who genuinely care about their guests and want to make sure everything goes smoothly. They were super responsive and flexible with meeting points for delivery and pickup of the RV, making our convenience a high priority. Their RV was the perfect size for our group of 6, including me and my wife, along with 4 adult children 19-24. It was well stocked, with all necessities included. I HIGHLY recommend getting the Blackstone grill add-on, as we used this to cook numerous meals at our campsites. Overall, a great experience and 5-star hosts.
