California Jam

Roll music, health, and an outdoor adventure all into one with an RV trip to California Jam. Costa Mesa is waiting for you to take your seat!

Event information

In 2007, Dr. Bill DeMoss thought it would be a good idea to fuse health discussions in a TED talk environment with an AC/DC rock concert vibe. The goal was to inspire people to learn and be informed but also to ensure they had a great time. California Jam was born, and the event in Costa Mesa, California, has grown in strength.

This chiropractic and natural health expo with a concert twist incorporates dozens of expert speakers over three days in February, but also live bands, a speaker gala dinner, and an after-party. Everyone from the health-conscious to the medical professional and music lover is catered for at this event.

California Jam’s goal is to make learning fun, educate the planet, and allow easy access to knowledge from experts on sustainability and health. You can enjoy all this and more at the Segerstrom Center for the Arts at 600 Town Center Drive.

Costa Mesa is a bustling hub of activity, which is yet another reason to book your tickets to California Jam. Once the event finishes in the early afternoon on the final day, you can make the most of your RV vacation and check out the sights.

Balboa Pier in Newport Beach is an iconic landmark and ideal location to grab a bite to eat. You can also go touring at the Limestone Canyon Regional Park (weather permitting) and go walking at Whiting Ranch Wilderness Park.

For the health-conscious music lover with a need to dust off the motorhome, California Jam in Costa Mesa could be the answer.

Tickets

Most people understand the concept of the early bird gets the worm, and in the case of California Jam, this rings true. Presale tickets, and those released in spring, summer, and fall, are far more affordable than if you were to buy them in winter or on the day of the event.

You can also purchase them in different tiers, based on whether you’re a student, the general public, or are attending the after-party or speaker’s gala dinner. For those who prefer to save money where possible, getting in early can be an excellent decision.

When you arrive at the venue for the first time, you will sign in and pick up your name badge, which has your seating assignment. Your name badge becomes your ticket for re-entry.

Transportation

Driving

The hustling and bustling Orange County city of Costa Mesa is just 37 miles from Los Angeles and 88 miles from San Diego. It covers around 16 square miles and lies one mile from the Pacific Ocean. The city is accessible via main highways such as CA-73, I-405, and the Costa Mesa Freeway.

Even though Costa Mesa is built-up and easy to navigate, the mountainous terrain encompassing Orange County can make travel tricky in the winter months. Before you set off, download a traffic app like California Road Report, and remain up to date with weather changes on an app or website.

Upon arriving in Costa Mesa, allow plenty of time to find a parking spot for your RV, for the California Jam venue is located near a busy freeway with limited parking opportunities.

Parking areas

There is no onsite parking available at the Segerstrom Center for the Arts. However, those who use their tow vehicle or smaller campervan will not be stranded without somewhere safe to park it. There are parking garages adjacent to the center for a fee. Some of these may have size restrictions, so be aware of that when you start your hunt for parking. To avoid any hassle and stress, you may like to make yourself comfortable at your overnight RV campground and arrange public transport to and from the event.
