Barrington Shores Campground

The town of Barrington has a long and storied history that dates back centuries to America’s Colonial era. Like many towns in southern New Hampshire, its population grew considerably during the Industrial Revolution, when the state's fast-moving rivers provided power to area mills and steelworks. But you won’t find many factories or sooty clouds in Barrington today – it’s a rural New England community, with a wealth of natural beauty and plenty of charm to make it one of the area’s most popular tourist destinations.

Camping at Barrington Shores Campground is a fantastic way to see this part of New Hampshire, and you’ll have easy access to most of the sights in the southern part of the state and southwestern Maine too. The RV campground has top-shelf amenities including full hookups for your RV rental, a dump station, laundry facilities, and a small store should you need to pick up some essentials.

As would be expected from its location on Swain’s Lake, RV camping at Barrington Shores Campground offers a wealth of outdoor recreational opportunities too. The lake has two sandy beaches that are perfect for swimming, fishing, or working on your tan. If you want to get out on the water, there are canoe, rowboat, standup paddleboard, and kayak rentals available too. For fun on dry land, they’ve got volleyball and shuffleboard courts, along with two playgrounds and a video game arcade. Those wanting to spend some time with fellow travelers when renting an RV will love all of the group activities that the campground plans, from movie nights and karaoke to arts and crafts workshops.
