Shenandoah Acres Family Campground

If you are wondering what the best way to discover the breathtaking beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains is, try camping at Shenandoah Acres Family Campground and you will find your answer. A range of amenities is waiting for campers, including a camp store, a laundromat, and two pavilions. There are on-site propane services, as well as firewood and ice. If you don’t want to stay inside your RV rental, spend some time swimming in the lake, fishing in the fishing pond, or playing mini-golf. This pet-friendly campground also has volleyball and basketball courts, two game rooms, and four playgrounds, so you will stay busy all the time. The fun never stops – once a week you can listen to a DJ or some live music, and the children can take part in craft activities.

Several lodging options are available to choose from. Those looking for an RV site will find full-hookup sites with 30/50 amp service and sites with water and electric only. Tent sites are waiting for visitors going for a traditional camping experience, and there are sandstone lodges or lakeside cottages available too.

When you book an RV in Augusta County, find some time to hit the road and explore the surrounding national and state parks and forests, the nearby Shenandoah National Park being only one of them. If you would rather lay your eyes on an urban landscape, travel a short distance to Charlottesville, home to the Monticello plantation and the Virginia Discovery Museum. Drive to the east in your campervan rental, and you will arrive in Richmond, the capital of the state that attracts visitors with its long and interesting history, as well as attractions such as the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts and Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden.
