Devils River Campground

If you're looking for an authentic and natural RV camping experience, then Devils River Campground has exactly what you need. This (almost) no-frills campground is open from early May until around the end of September and has all the quiet you can handle and then some. Reservations can be made roughly a month ahead of the opening date, and the sites can be rented by the day or seasonally.

The RV park has restrooms with showers, laundry facilities, and a swimming pond where you can cool off after a long day. Each site has back-in access, water and electrical hookups, and there is a community dumping station for your gray water. The city of Denmark is a hop and skip away should you need any necessities or supplies.

Once you're settled in and ready to commence, try heading for Cherney Maribel Caves County Park in your camper rental. This historical setting has a number of caves situated along a cliff that is parallel to the West Twin River. The caves were created when melting glaciers first exposed the Niagara dolomite rock located beneath the surface and then flooded the caves, enlarging them and depositing silt and gravel as the waters withdrew.

Just outside of Cooperstown, you'll find a horse breeder who raises high-quality horses, a produce farm where you can purchase vegetables and fruits only minutes off the stem, and much more. While you're getting used to the area, feel free to take your motorhome rental for a spin on the local highways; it's an experience you don't want to miss.
