Hobo Park Campground

Camping with an RV usually means staying several miles outside of town, in an area with few amenities, necessitating a daily drive for supplies and services. Fortunately, when you rent a camper near Hobo Park Campground, you’ll be within walking distance of all the stores and restaurants of Starbuck, Minnesota. It’s not a large community by any means, but it has everything you could need for a motorhome camping adventure.

Hobo Park sits on the western shore of Lake Minnewaska, near the heart of central Minnesota’s lake district. The city campground has over 100 RV sites with water and electrical hookups, making for a comfortable RV rental experience. If you’re an angler with the proper state license, Lake Minnewaska has an abundant stock of large and smallmouth bass, northern pike, perch, and walleye. Catch something good and want to fry it for dinner? Fortunately, the park has a fish-cleaning station, so there’s no need to dirty your campsite.

The campground also has a wealth of outdoor recreation opportunities, too, sporting a playground for the kids along with horseshoe pits for a family game night. Hobo Park Campground is well connected to Starbuck's municipal parks via the Glacial Lakes Trail too. Tennis and volleyball courts, along with a swimming pool, can be found at these city parks. There’s also a fantastic loop trail encircling Lake Minnewaska, which is perfect for a morning run or a short bike ride.
