Lizzie Mae's Mercantile Campground

Lizzie Mae's Mercantile is located in the Fort Amarillo RV Resort on the western edge of the city of Amarillo. This large RV camping area is designed as a vacation resort, with plenty going on and plenty of facilities.

On arrival, you'll find a well laid out RV campground, with easy to find sites, and the majority of the over 100 camping areas are pull-thru. Perfect when you have a big rig or just don't want to try backing your rental RV onto the site. Once you've found your site, you can quickly connect to the full hook-up services, including electric, water, and sewerage. Every site also benefits from free WiFi and free cable TV, so once settled in, you should be very comfortable.

At the center of the site, behind Lizzie Mae's Mercantile, is a garden area with a catch and release fishing pond and plenty of green space to relax in. Also, here is the small recreation hall, with a larger hall a short distance away. The large rec hall includes an indoor swimming pool, pool tables, fitness center, laundry, changing rooms, and restrooms, with a large playground next to it. On the other side of the park are a large, fenced dog walking area, plus tennis and basketball courts.

For a motorhome camping vacation with the kids, this really has got a lot to offer, and the family pet is welcome along as well. With plenty of attractions in the area, it is an ideal place to book an RV in Potter County, and of course, don't forget to visit Lizzie Mae's Mercantile for gifts and souvenirs of Amarillo.

The Fort Amarillo RV Resort is midway between Albuquerque in the west and Oklahoma City in the east, in an area known as the Texas Panhandle.
