Wind Creek boasts one of the largest state-managed campgrounds in the country, with more than 620 sites spread across 320 acres. Other sites are shaded by tall pines and surrounded by colorful wildflowers and dogwoods.

More than 200 of the sites are full-service with water, electricity, and sewer hookups. All sites feature picnic tables and grills – perfect for fish fry ups and s'more roasting sessions. Wind Creek treats you to a premium state park RV camping experience, with creature comforts such as hot showers, flush toilets, and laundry facilities. There's a well-stocked campground store for picking up firewood and other basics, as well as a marina, fishing pier, and playground. Sites are available on a first-come, first-served basis, so be sure to arrive early if you're planning on camping with an RV during peak season, which spans from Memorial Day to Labor Day.

Alexander City is the closest urban hub, with a good selection of gas stations, grocery stores, and restaurants.
