Getting Outdoors

An RV rental near Campbell Lake will make it easy for you to enjoy many different outdoor activities. The lake itself is surrounded mostly by private homes and property, though there is public access via a parking lot off of Dimond Boulevard, which is just north of the lake site. This body of water is primarily used by the public for paddle sports, such as kayaking and canoeing, as fishing is not permitted. Visitors should be aware that this is a busy floatplane base, and those vehicles have the right of way, so all paddlers are encouraged to watch the skies and stick close to the shore.

Some of these locales offer hands-on exhibits for children to try, and there are art museums, many that feature the work of local artisans. We had an amazing experience! The Suburban and Roofnest setup was perfect—clean, comfortable, and exactly what we needed for our trip. The vehicle ran smoothly and made traveling stress-free. Our host was awesome to work with: communicative, flexible, and made the whole process super easy. Would absolutely rent from him again and highly recommend to anyone looking for a great adventure vehicle!

Eric is a great guy. Was extremely helpful and communicative. Van ran really good, pretty good gas mileage as well. If you’re taller than 5’10” you’ll need to sleep at an angle to stretch your legs, but it’s a big bed. Van is loaded with helpful items for boondocking. I would rent again
