Looking for off-grid adventure, our Jeep Gladiator (Gladis) takes you to unforgettable locations. She is fitted with an AT Overland Atlas topper, and completely outfitted by our friends at Ironman 4x4 America. Just show up, get an hour introduction, grab some grocery's, then it's off to enjoy an adventure of a lifetime. She'll take you to some amazing places, and you'll have plenty of comfort in the backcountry. She is not a rock crawler, or a desert racer, and there are restrictions on where you can go. So when sending your request to rent, please provide you travel plans/destination. If you need some help, just let us know! We have plentiful knowledge of back-roads trails across Oregon, Nevada, and Idaho. What's includedCamping Supplies Include:

RecommendationsThere are so many forest service roads right out of Bend, you really can't go wrong on finding a private few days to yourself in nature. Just chose a direction, and drive!Other things to noteWe love furry friends, but they can tend to make a mess. Please only 1 dog allowed, and there is a $30 cleaning fee if you do decide to bring your four-legged mate. The truck is GPS for safety and security reasons. If you travel to places or on routes we ask you not to go, we will withhold your security deposit. Best way to avoid this is to communicate your travel plans upfront. Thank you for understanding.

Meet your host, Oregon AT

Member since 2020

My name is Brent and I am the founder of Oregon AT. Our small business is based in beautiful Bend, Oregon, and we are the dealer for AT Overland Toppers in the Pacific Northwest and British Columbia. My wife and I have owned and operated truck campers and expedition vehicles for years, and we know how important it is to try something out before you make a financial commitment. Queen Gladis is our first rental vehicle, and our hope is that it gives families the opportunity to try out the camper topper and gear before making any purchases. In our experience it is always good to start with what you have, then add-on as you notice something would make the experience more comfortable.

Rules and policies

  • Pet friendly
  • No music festivals
  • No tailgating
  • No smoking
  • Mileage: 150 free miles / day
Pets accepted if well behaved and they cannot ride inside the Jeep. No climbing on the roof when it is deployed. Absolutely no smoking inside or outside of the vehicle and camper. While Gladis is very capable off-road, our rules for off-pavement travel are simple: If the terrain is extreme and a stock 4x4 cannot easily navigate it, you cannot go on it. Don't worry, there are 1000's of miles of Forest Service and BLM roads in Oregon where you can enjoy secluded camping and immense vistas all to yourselves. Other than that, we would love nothing more than you enjoying Queen Gladis.

Have a question?Get answers directly from the host

Q.What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?
A.
We are pretty flexible, and will do our best to work around your travel plans. However we hope you will also be flexible if we have a busy schedule that day.

Q.I was wanting to explore the Alvord or Black Rock Desert, is that ok?
A.
We've had a few renters travel to desert playas, and unfortunately there is no way to predict what the conditions might be out there. It can be a vehicle destroyer when wet, so we do not rent Gladis for trips to the Alvord anymore. This just prevents any risk to the truck, and additional charges to you for possible recovery, cleaning, and damage.

Q.Can you cook insides the camper?
A.
There is no interior cooking platform inside the Atlas topper. It was designed to open up for outside cooking off the tailgate of the truck. We ask that you don't cook inside.

Q.How is the camper powered?
A.
We have a dual battery set up on the Jeep. The camper is powered by a 65Ah auxiliary battery under the hood, which supplies 12 volt power to the living area. There is no 110 volt plug-ins. There is a 105 watt solar panel which provides charging to the auxiliary battery during the day. If the starter battery dies, there is a button under the hood which will allow you to start the jeep with the auxiliary battery.
