Here's the best part. This rig is setup with solar and an onboard generator and is fully self contained so you're not reliant on campgrounds with hookups. Feel free to roam! She drives like a dream, has very low mileage and is kept in top shape at all times, giving each guest the best experience possible. She also has second row seating that can safely secure your kiddos car seats, or your drunk friend, Dave, in place. Stay seated Dave, don't make me pull this thing over...This rig is fully loaded, well stocked and ready for adventure. What's includedThe rig is stocked with all the general amenities (TP, cooking supplies, fresh sheets on the rear bed, towels) so you won't need much. Extra comforts such as additional blankets, pillows, and sleeping bags are always recommended.A backup camera is installed to help you take the worry out of backin that thang up.RecommendationsIf you're gonna visit Idaho and make an epic adventure out of it, you need to start by visiting Redfish Lake in the Sawtooth Mountains. The landscape is incredible and the lakes are crystal blue. Also, check out Payette Lake located in McCall, Idaho. This place is a great little mountain town that's easy to get to from Boise. Known for its lake life summers and ski bum winters. The last hidden gem we're willing to share is a little place across the Oregon border called Succor Creek. The red rock formations are incredible. Highly recommended in the early spring or late fall when temps cool down.Other things to noteWhile Lassie is prepared to be your boon docking haven please do not take her on an excessive off-roading expedition. She only has 2WD and doesn't care much for rough backroads. Washboards roads are one thing (please go slow on washboards) but heavily rutted and rocky roads should be avoided at all cost.Be aware that this vehicle is tracked with GPS for safety and security purposes.Excessive exterior scratches from driving through trees and heavy brush may incur and excessive cleaning and scratch removal fee depending on severity. Please treat the camper as if it was yours and you planned to keep it for many years to come.

Inconsistent communication and preparation

Guests reported mixed experiences; some found Alex responsive and helpful with walkthroughs, while others faced extreme unresponsiveness during critical issues and at drop-off, alongside poor vehicle readiness.

Easy to drive and maneuver

Guests found it ran smoothly with a backup camera. However, some reported it was 'beat up,' with a full waste tank, septic smell, mouse droppings in utensils, dirty dishes, difficult locks, and a check engine light.

I am not one to leave bad reviews and I hate to do this but what we experienced was horrible and I think people need to know about it before renting from him. When we pick the RV up I asked for his number just incase we had some problems or questions. I gave him my phone and pointed out there was no number located on the app. He asked for my number which I gave it to him and asked him to please send me a message so I was able to save his number. He never did. My husband got the RV home and there was a very loud beeping noise going off. It was going off for at least 20 minutes cause I showed up a little later than him. We had a hard time trying to locate where the noise was coming from. I messaged Alex on the app over and over again, any response? Nope. Finally we figured out it was the carbon monoxide alarm so we were able to shut it off. It took him until 11:38 at night to reach out to us and finally give us some help….We took the camper on a trip to our friends wedding, The RV didn’t do to bad itself but we ran into a couple of issues. The bathroom sink had a smell of septic that kept stinking up the whole camper after we go done moving it. Especially the night we got back from the wedding, it kept me up for hours. And I would like to state that we hardly used the toilet, when we did it was only to go pee. I’ve lived in a Camper for the past 8 years, the smell we kept getting was a smell of it not being well kept. It was like he just trusted his customers and never did any other maintenance after receiving it.. Locking and unlocking the doors was a fight. All of us struggled to unlock the camper once it was locked, which is a safety hazard. The Tv was broken which isn’t the biggest deal but it was still very annoying. The worst part about this trip was finding Mouse poop in the silverware drawer!! Yes you heard me, mouse poop all over the utensils we are supposed to eat with. Which is a very big safety hazard and disgusting!! Not only that but before we discovered the mouse poop I wanted to warm something up in a bowl. I reached in the cabinet to find a filthy bowl with sticky stuff all over it. All of the dishes seemed very dirty. It was absolutely disgusting and no one should ever be able to rent out an RV or anything in this condition! Last but not least Alex was well aware of when I would be dropping off the RV I gave him a time frame of sometime between 5pm-7pm on Sunday. I sent him a text to his phone number at 5:23 informing him we just got into town and would be heading that way soon. Never heard from him. I gave him a call about 30 min after that, it went straight to voicemail so I left a message saying we got things to do and I’m heading that way now to drop it off. I get to his shop and not surprised but he was no where to be found. Tried calling him again, still no answer. I wasn’t sure what to do so I locked it up, hid the keys and took a picture of where it was. Can you guys guess when he finally reach out to me? 11:41 at night!!! Telling me “he was out of service most of the day with his family.” That’s great, good for you, guess what you still have a paying customer you need to take care of!! Never left me notes or gave me a heads up of what I needed to do with the RV. This is the worst experience I’ve had to ever deal with, it was stressful, disgusting and annoying. I truly don’t believe I should have paid him under these circumstances. I will be adding photos of the bowls and the mouse droppings we found all over in the silverware drawer.

Communication was a little clunky but Alex was flexible and the RV is great ! It’s not super new, but it was perfect for our purposes. We had trouble trying to get the table bed installed ; if you need this for your trip I recommend getting a tutorial on pickup. I would recommend, thanks !

Terrible experience! Alex was over an hour late for the delivery. The RV is beat up and the back water tank (poop tank) was 3/4 full. Alex said "there must be something suck on the sensor". Well I figured it out the tank was 3/4 full! We experienced a horrible smell form the waste in the tank for the first 4 hour drive to initial camp site. I had to empty the tank right when we set up. The smell persisted for the whole 4 day trip. It was so bad we had to use a hotel the 4th night we could not sleep with the smell. to top it off the check engine light was on when he delivered the RV and the fridge froze our food. This RV should never have been rented in this condition. I left the RV with 1/4 tank of gas to offset our hotel cost and troubles and we were still charged $188! Total scam artist! I cent believe Outdoorsy endorses this! Will NEVER rent or refer to Alex.
