Gone are the browns and tans of other trailers, and it has now been replaced by a more modern and clean look! Despite being an ultra-light trailer, Lil' Frankie is spacious and easy to live with for a family of four. The kids will love the bunk beds (including the fairy lights on the top bunk), while you have plenty of room to roll out and relax on the RV Queen in the front (note: an RV Queen size is somewhere in between the Full & Queen sizes of normal mattresses). The table breaks down into a 5th bed, and our 5'5" daughter says it is surprisingly comfortable and prefers to sleep there.Lil Frankie has a full kitchen with a refrigerator, 2-burner stove, and a sink. Her layout also includes a bathroom with shower and toilet, and a 4-person banquet. Note: the booth is a little tight for our tall family, so we bring camp chairs and a table to eat outside. She also has a retractable awning to add shade for those bright sunny days in the mountains. There is plenty of storage space, including both above and under the queen bed (full pass-through) and below the lower bunk bed.Weighing less than 4k lbs wet, she can be towed by many SUVs and trucks (please check with your manufacturer!). At check-in, we'll walk through all the ins and outs of towing and using the trailer.Important: You must have an electronic brake controller installed (not provided), a hitch receiver, and a 2 5/16" ball. We are a family of four that enjoys exploring the outdoors. Our favorite trip in 2020 was to the Grand Tetons National Parks. We always prefer dispersed camping where we can be a bit closer to nature with more privacy. It requires more planning and paying attention to your electricity, water, and waste but the payoff is worth it (in our opinion). Someday soon we'll upgrade Frankie with a little more ground clearance to get a little further back down the forest service roads.
