We built our dream VW van, and now we want to share it with you. Our 1984 Westfalia, ButterNut, is a true classic, meaning she has a stick/manual transmission! So you have to have clutch skilz. But she drives much more like a modern vehicle. It could be the perfect vehicle for you to head out into the wilds of Yellowstone Park, the Beartooth Mountains, or to one of the dozens of blue-ribbon flyfishing rivers in Western Montana. Several upgrade packages are available, including a refrigerator, bike rack, toilet, and various other sorts of comfortable camping gear. Let us know what you need for your trip, and we'll hook you up. Technically she sleeps 4 but depends on how much room you like. One up, one down no problem, but could fit one more if you don't mind tighter spaces. Lots of folks bring an extra tent and do a combo. Rented June 1 through Sept 30. Booking Only Available Weekend TO Weekend. No pickups/dropoffs during the week. Absolutely no smoking, no pets, no off-road driving.Rental details for $180/night:
• Miles allowed – 150/day. Additional miles 0.35 cents/mile
• Vehicle return required by designated time, no exceptions. Additional time is $20/hour.
• Required $75 non-refundable cleaning fee
Included with the Van:
• Two camp chairs
• Van kitchen: 2 top propane stovetop, sink with electric faucet
• Kitchen and cooking set for 2. Fry pan, cook pots, cooking utensils, eating plates/bowls, silverware, hot and cold drink cups, French press for coffee, towels.
• Kitchen cleaning kit
• Small electrical fan 12v plug in. DO NOT run continuously; will drain battery overnight.
• On-board 10 gallon water tank; no city water hookup. Use with electric sink faucet. Gray water is contained below van. If used extensively, must be emptied regularly in appropriate locations.
• ARB roll out awning is allowed for use
• Electrical extension cord for campground shore power
• 2 sets sheets, 2 blankets and 2 pillows
