I would love to give a higher rating because these are first time renters. But, I had multiple challenges that warranted too much time spent on vehicle related items instead of my vacation: the black water cassette gave us alot of trouble, the wifi did not work, the screen does not close fully, the mechanical control panel shifted to a Google screen and I could not figure out how to get it back. The bed is uncomfortable without a large memory foam mattress that then takes up a large amount of interior space. Unless you have camped in one of these before or you are committed to spending 2-3 hours reading about the van before you pick it up, and watching videos about the various functions, I don't recommend a first timer rent it. Maybe if you are staying at a campground with hook ups, but if you are camping off grid without hook ups, I would not recommend -- unless you like watching videos about how the camper works on your vacation. Plus, I found alot of small things that were not sturdy ( latches, magnets, shelving) so I was constantly nervous I was going to break something. I just wound up not using the shower, kitchen stove or kitchen sink. But, we had go use the toilet, which led to headaches. If you are someone who likes to read car manuals and you are a very light touch , I would recommend. If you are like me and just want a plug and play/ functional base to explore and camp from, maybe look elsewhere. The camper itself took too much of my vacation time itself. It was a hassle. And, be prepared for an extended pick up and drop off experience with the owners. We spent an hour prior to departure getting a tour, and when we returned it felt like an inspection. I left feeling like I paid a high price tag for a hassle.

We want to emphasize that it is extremely important to us to provide the best possible experience for our guests. We understand that using an RV for the first time can be overwhelming and stressful, if not properly trained. We empathize with the challenges that you faced.Our walkthrough and training process is designed to ensure that our guests feel confident and comfortable operating our vehicle and using its features safely without us. We do understand that not everyone is well-versed in using this type of vehicle, and this is why we take training very seriously, especially when it comes to first-time RV renters and folks who typically don't go camping. If you rent a vehicle like this again, I recommend paying close attention during the training, as these trainings are very common practice. It is also very important to note that the training is mainly there for the comfort of the guests, as we will not be physically with you on your adventure. Unfortunately, damage to our unit and belongings was caused by not following the rules outlined in the supplemental rental agreement and our walkthrough. Despite this, we still went above and beyond to offer financial breaks and took on the cost of labor that would have normally been billed. We also reimbursed you immediately for the wifi issue that you shared with us, despite your disinterest in troubleshooting.We wanted you and your son to be as comfortable as possible so we provided a thoughtful care package to make your trip as seamless and enjoyable as we could, which included a variety of items to meet your needs and his. We made it clear that we were available any time of day or night to help with any issues or discomforts that might arise during your trip. Overall, we encountered some challenges with communication during the rental, which added to the difficulties. While we were not made aware of most of the issues mentioned in your review, we appreciate the feedback and will do our best to address any areas of improvement.We take any discomfort as an opportunity to grow and as a result of this rental, all future guests will have access to paper documentation on how to operate the vehicle. Of course this will be in addition to the walkthrough and unlimited remote assistance from us during the rental timeframe.
