Overview

This fuel-efficient apartment on wheels is perfect for solo travelers but versatile enough to accommodate up to 4 comfortably. Large windows line the Rialta allowing for panoramic views while you're parked, and ease of getting around when you're loading up at the grocery store or getting out of traffic. The Front Wheel Drive and agile turning radius make the Rialta drive more like a minivan than an RV. Did I mention 17-20 MPG! Compare that to those huge, clunky units. The Rialta boasts easy-to-use camping features that make it one of the best introductory RVs ever made. With tons of storage the 22RD model, the most preferred of ALL Rialta models. Other stuff: You have the option of traveling with or without the generator (primarily used for running the rooftop A/C when you're not at a full hookup but don't worry the automotive portion of the RV has two air conditioners) stored in a hitch mounted Thule storage box. Either way, additional storage is available. The refrigerator is 3 way. Option 1) 120V. AKA plugged into a campsite or an extension cord running out to the RV. Option 2) Battery. Perfectly fine while driving but you'll want to with off when not as to not drain the coach battery. Option 3) Propane. Lights once the refrigerator is at operating temperature and is ideal at lower elevations, but higher elevations can cause ignition challenges. Documented 91 octane gas is required. During the winter months, the water system is winterized but “potable” water is fine. A required add-on of $65 is included for additional detailed cleaning. If the vehicle requires a major cleaning due to smoking, spills, or bad odors, a professional cleaning fee of $200 will be assessed against your security deposit. You are required to fill the gas tank (at same level received) and empty the black and gray water tanks, otherwise a penalty fee of $50 will be charged to fill the gasoline tank (plus the cost of gas), and a penalty fee of $60 will be charged to empty the black and gray water tanks. Don't worry about refilling the fresh water tank or the liquid propane tank, I'll take care of that. Buckle up and enjoy! Absolutely no off-roading allowed.

Cody's van was perfect, it is small and compact and has everything you need as well as fitting into small camp sites and parking spaces. Cody organised a bike rack for us so we could travel with three mountain bikes. I would recommend this van and Cody to anyone who wants to go on a Colorado...

Cody is a great host. Very knowledgeable technically and very flexible. The van was meticulous and perfect for our needs. Going uphill was slow but after a while you learn to prepare for a hill and do a better job compensating. All in all a very good value.
