If you love to camp and be out in nature to disconnect, but sleeping on the ground is not your thing, then a teardrop camper is the way to go. You can tow this many places a larger camper cannot go and you don't need a truck to pull it. You can plug in at a campground with electricity or park it on BLM land off the grid.We have towed this easily with a Mazda CX-5. It sleeps two adults comfortably in a Queen size cabin. There is a ceiling fan that pulls air in or out of the cabin. It is well insulated so you can use this pretty much year round. There is a door on each side so access is easy. Storage cabinets inside allow you to store clothing, toiletries, and to stash a few books or games, etc. There is a stereo and speakers in the main cabin, with more speakers in the rear galley. In the rear, on the outside, is the galley with more cabinets that can store kitchen necessities including plates, cookware and food. There is an electric cooler that is powered by a deep-cycle battery. Counter space is covered by the back hatch with overhead lighting and speakers to enjoy some camping tunes while you prep your food. This little camper lets you enjoy camping without making a big fuss of it. Easy to tow, and park, with minimal set-up allows you to enjoy all the things you love about camping in a dry, comfortable bed. Best of all, you can leave it where you camp and drive off for a day of adventure without having to take it all with you as you would a rooftop tent or camper van. What's includedMattress, cooler and essential tools are included. 5 gallon water jug, plates, pans and cups, linens and solar panel are all optional. RecommendationsWe have taken this teardrop to rural Oregon to watch the total solar eclipse, to lakes in central Washington state, along rivers in Idaho, to BLM, state parks and national forest land and family's driveways in CO. Its so easy to tow, and can do some limited off road (I wouldn't take it down a 4wd road, it doesn't have the ground clearance or suspension for it). Other things to noteAbsolutely no smoking (tobacco or marijuana), vaping, or illicit drugs are to be used inside this camper. We love pets but this is too small to bring Fido. We are willing to consider a small dog (less than 25lbs), but no ferrets, rabbits, turtles or other pets.

We own a teardrop camper and love it. The main downside is that there isn’t much space to spend a cold or wet day inside while camping. So we are wanting to rent something larger for a winter getaway. My husband and I have a dog, 6yo Nani who is a mutt but looks Rhodesian without the ridge. She loves camping but is not a big fan of water. Which is unfortunate because I and my hubby do with our paddle boards. She is well behaved and isn’t a chewer. The three of us love to hike and snowshoe. We have a newer Ford Ranger truck which has given us newfound access to more back country activity. We recently purchased land in the mountains but haven’t built on it yet. So camping it is!
