- Fix-a-flatRecommendationsThanks for checking out our little camper.Leigh-Ann is midwest transplant living in Colorado for over 15 years and my husband is a native so together we have visited most of the iconic points of interest in Colorado. If you are looking for any suggestions we are happy to help. Our most favorite place to camp with our RV is next to Gold Medal Water rivers where you can hear the flowing water right next door. Chad is a huge recreational fly fisherman. If you need any recommendations on where to fly fish in Colorado or what to fly to fish with he's your guy for insider information. While you'll find me spending my time hiking, reading, and cooking unless I get the opportunity to SUP or kayak then that's where you'll find me. The rest of our time is spent relaxing while watching our two pups have the time of their lives in the Colorado wildness.Other things to note* Towing vehicle capacity will need to be 5,000 lbs of more to tow safely and will need a 2" hitch receiver and 7-pin.
* No smoking
* The camper has some off road capability but as with any off-road vehicle it is limited so using your best judgement is necessary
* No unattended pets left in RV at anytime
* No generator or inverter provided (small car inverter provided)

* Hookup not needed for indoor+outdoor lights/speakers/hot water/furnace/fridge/freezer/USB plug-ins/awning/bathroom + shower ventilation fans

Frequently asked questions
Q.
What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?
A.
We are flexible with pickup and drop off times. Pick up times are from 10am to 6pm and drop off's can be from 10am to 6pm. We do request that you give us at least 48 hour notice of pick up time and the drop-off time the day before so that we can be available for you.
Q.
Will I run out of power with the solar?
A.
Generally speaking no. If the panels are in the sun you will have all you need. We have upgraded to 200 watt rooftop solar panels and a double battery bank. This will be able to run the lights, speakers, USB chargers, fridge and freezer. The furnace and hot water heater run on propane. Our guests including ourselves have always had enough power. Given you're not a moth and leave everything light while using every USB charger and leaving the fridge open all day you should be completely fine.
Q.
What do I need to pack?
A.
We have the necessary items for cooking, eating and cleaning including outdoor grilling utensils, plus a french press. We supply trash bags, RV toilet paper and paper towels. We have 3 camp chairs, USB fans, car invertor (to charge your laptop, etc.), USB charging flash lights + headlamps. Upon choosing the free "add-on's" with your booking. We will supply bedding and towels. So really you will just have to pack clothes, bath/shower products, food, outdoor adventure gear and that's about it.
Q.
What do I need to tow your camper?
A.
You will need a vehicle with a 5,000 lb + towing capacity with a tow package including a 2" receiver and a 7-pin. We're able to provide the appropriate ball mount for your 2" receiver. Not all vehicles with tow packages come with a brake controller. We also have a blue tooth brake controller if you need it. This helps you adjust the sensitivity of the trailer brakes while driving, especially helpful in the mountains. Trailers over 3,000 lbs are typically required by state to have one.
