Visit Parc de la Pepiniere, or Nursery Park, and learn more about the history of the town through the plants and trees nurtured here. Nursery Park was developed in the 18th century by Stanislas as a royal nursery. The old trees that line the streets of Nancy began at Parc de la Pepiniere and were then transplanted to their final destinations throughout the city. Today, visitors can wander through the checkerboard arrangement of flower beds and arboretums. Children can visit a small petting zoo and play on the playgrounds.
