The Great Outdoors
While in Cergy, you'll want to experience Axe Majeur. Major Axis, took 30 years to complete and is the vision of Dani Karavan, a contemporary sculptor. There are 12 points of interest or stations along the Axe Majeur. The sculpture is just less than two miles long and is laid out in a straight line. At each station, visitors will discover a different information panel describing the importance of that station, such as the Esplanade de Paris, where you can see parts of La Defense and Paris when you look to the southeast. The Axe Majeur begins at the Tour Belvedere with a tower that has a laser beam pointing out the route along the entire sculpture. Visitors enjoy hiking, biking, and even jogging along the Axe Majeur.

The house was commissioned at the end of the 15th century by the Archbishop of Rouen. Now, the art inside is mainly from the 20th century and features pieces by Legros, Jean Arp, and Matisse. Many of the historical exhibits are rumored to have been stolen from the Royal Saint-Denis Basilica during the Revolution and include a lock of hair from Philip II, teeth from Henry III and Henry IV, a portion of Louis IX’s skull, and one of Catherine de’Medici’s mummified legs.

The entire Avis staff was highly competent and helpful throughout the camper handover process. Our overall experience with the vehicle was very positive—it was brand new, in excellent condition, and fully equipped with everything we needed.
The only reason I am not giving a 5-star rating is due to an issue with the linen supplied for the two single beds (which, ironically, cost more than the double bed set). Both mattress protectors were the wrong size and much too short for the single beds, meaning we couldn't use them at all.
Given this inconvenience, I would expect a partial refund or a discount voucher for a future rental.

Ns regrettons d'avoir été briefé au départ par une stagiaire qui nous as donné de mauvaises informations (gaz, nettoyage, ravcord du tuyau d'eau)
Résultat : une bouteille de gaz de marque étrangère sur les bras (58€) et un nettoyage à faire au dernier moment du van sinon 250€ à payer et achat d'un embout de tuyau pour le réapprovisionnement en eau à l'étranger)
L'accueil à l'agence est malgré tout chaleureux et professionnel qd il s'agit des personnes qualifiées.
