The Great Outdoors
With its enviable location overlooking the Mediterranean, more than 550 miles southeast of Paris, Nice is the sort of place where there are plenty of good reasons to spend lots of time in the great outdoors. Nice's outdoor spaces don't get any more iconic than the Promenade des Anglais. This four-mile walkway along the beachfront offers lovely views out over the beach to the sparkling ocean beyond, and it's popular with everyone from walkers to cyclists and rollerbladers. You'll also find some stunning examples of Belle Époque architecture while strolling along here, as well as a few bars where you can stop for a late-afternoon cocktail or two.
Camping in Nice
If you're looking for somewhere to park your campervan rental in Nice, you'll need to head out of the city and into the surrounding towns and villages. One option you might like to consider is Les Cent Chênes, located roughly half an hour out of Nice at Saint-Jeannet. Here, you'll find 20 campsites for campervans, caravans, and tents, all set in pretty and shaded surrounds. Some pitches also have their own toilet and shower as well as a sink for washing up.
Exploring the City
When you're ready to go exploring in your rental motorhome in Nice, you'll want to make the city's Old Town your first stop. While much of Nice is dominated by wide boulevards and open squares, the oldest part of the city boasts an enchanting array of narrow, cobblestone streets. Here, you'll find architecture dating from the 17th century, wonderful little cafes, and a real Italian flavor, so it's worth spending a couple of hours just enjoying the ambiance.

Nous avons passé une semaine incroyable dans les Dolomites grâce au van aménagé Volkswagen de VAN AZUR. Le véhicule était en parfait état, très confortable et parfaitement équipé pour notre aventure. Nous étions trois: deux adultes et un enfant de 4 ans. Il nous a offert une grande liberté pour explorer des endroits magnifiques et profiter pleinement de la nature/camping sauvage. La location s’est déroulée sans aucun souci, avec un service très professionnel et réactif. Nous recommandons vivement cette expérience avec VAN AZUR à tous les amateurs de road trip et de montagne.

Juste super pour des vacances en toute liberté. Des Van superbes qui permettent de rouler comme dans une voiture mais avec l'avantage de pouvoir s'arrêter et dormir où bon nous semble (park4night :p). Je recommande sans hésiter. Merci encore :)
