The Great Outdoors

Just outside of the appropriately named “Lake City” of Acworth, you can find yourself taking a dip in Lake Acworth, and Lake Altoona, both of which containing multiple boat ramps, marinas, and beaches to enjoy the gorgeous summertime weather. These lakes are great for all sorts of fishing and other assorted watersports and even served as the location for the 2017 National Wakeboard Championships. Tucked neatly in between these lakes, you can find both George Washington Carver State Park and Red Top Mountain State Park which attract many visitors each summer from Atlanta, and the rest of the country.

RV Parks

Lucky for you, Acworth and its surrounding area contain an extraordinary amount of friendly and well-kept campgrounds and RV parks, another reason why it such a model camper rental city. One of the very best places to park your motorhome rental in Acworth is the Allatoona Landing Marine Resort, located right on Lake Allatoona. This lake boasts 12 thousand surface acres of waterfront and a variety of marinas and boat rentals to keep you and your family occupied.

Exploring the City

If you find yourself tired of the outdoors, perhaps take a day trip down to Atlanta, one of the country’s most visited cities, and be sure to try some southern-style BBQ that Atlanta is known for. This was our first RV rental and we could not been more happier with it! This camper has everything you need! The owners are very communicative and so friendly! We will only be rented from them!

The host was able to deliver and set up for us which was very nice. They also provided chairs which was also a great help as we traveled from a distance and couldn’t take too much extra things. Our hosts went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and even left a nice welcome basket for us. Rv plus was that there was an outdoor kitchen sink and mini fridge. Great experience

Tiffany was a great host and super responsive with the couple small issues and questions we had during our trip. The floor plan Ellie has is great and not something you'll find often in this class of RVs. The kids *loved* the twin size bunks. You could comfortably sleep 4 adults and 2 kids in this RV. Compared to another RV of similar size we've rented, you do sacrifice some kitchen space and functionality to get the bunks that add so much sleeping space, so its a trade-off.
I wondered how well running 2 ACs on only 30 amps would work, but it turns out one AC was *plenty* to keep us downright chilly inside.
One important note: Our last trip we had 4 adults and 2 kids on a 6 night trip. I got quite comfortable servicing the tanks. Ellie is a different animal though. I spent an hour and a half flushing and dumping the black trying to get the "empty" indication. This was following all the tips our host sent me. So budget lots of time to deal with the tanks on departure (or extra money to just return them full).
