If you’re in Helen during the warmer months, you can tube down the Chattahoochee River. The 430-mile river, which originates in Jacks Knob in Union County, flows through the heart of Helen. Since there are no real rapids on this portion of the river, it’s a perfect outing for everyone, even children.
