Take out the fishing rods and cast your line into Little River for a good catch! Fishing is permitted anywhere along the river so long as you’re within the preserve, and you have a valid Alabama fishing license. Redeye bass is abundant in the river, especially if you’re fishing at the Canyon Mouth Park area.

The park has lots of hiking and biking trails, a seasonal swimming pool, a nature center, a restaurant, and a museum for those keen on getting to know the history of the park.
The Little River Canyon Visitor Center is located in Fort Payne. The center has a movie theater, a natural history library, exhibits and displays, an outdoor amphitheater, and a gift shop too.
