Three bodies of water make up the interior of Peachtree City which are popular destinations for visitors and vacationers. Lake Kedron is a reservoir to the north which feeds into Flat Creek and Lake Peachtree. If you have a fishing license, don't forget to bring your pole and cast your line for the day.

Peachtree City offers a plethora of fun activities to do while visiting western Georgia. If you are an avid golfer then Peachtree City is worth a visit. There are a multitude of golf courses — and golf carts — worth visiting. The Planterra Ridge Golf Course, nestled along Lake McIntosh to the south of the city, is a beautiful course with the great backdrop of the lake. 18-holes are offered with different tees for different levels of skill.
