Our family debated long over what would make the best rig for a growing family of 4 to take on Colorado's marvelous mountains, but we finally landed on this one-of-a-kind 4-person Tourig, built right here in Golden! With foldaway seats and bunk beds for the kids, luxurious cabinetry and all the essentially backcountry amenities -- this is the perfect way to test the van life. Are you debating whether a 144 or 170" would work best for your family? Try ours and see for yourself what feels right! Or perhaps you're curious about what sets Tourig vans apart from the crowd... take Mira out and enjoy the benefits of rattle-free custom craftsmanship.The Mira is the last of the true Sprinter 4x4's, a 2022 model built out in 2023. At time of listing in August 2025, however, she only has just over 7k miles! So enjoy an essentially brand new van. The van is equipped with an Agile OffRoad Suspension Kit with fox suspension and oversized tires that are Three Peaks Mountain + Snow rated -- so well suited to summer or winter adventures.In addition to the front two swivel seats, we've added a folding bench seat that comfortably will seat adults or children -- complete with rear mounting points for booster seat straps as needed. The main rear bed will very comfortably sleep two adults, or 3 if you're up for snuggling. For kids (150lbs max) we've deployed the innovated "Cabbunk" bed system -- which provides two individual bunk beds/cots in the front of the cabin, well out of the way of cooking/dining area so the little ones can sleep in! The bunks are ideal for shorter/lighter guests otherwise. *It should be noted that linens are not provided for the bunks - a personal sleeping bag & pillow is recommended :)The Mira comes equipped with all the amenities for a weekend well spent. 110V outlets and USB-c's discretely tucked away make it easy to charge phones, run an air fryer and even electric water kettles (all included). Most cooking is handled by a generous induction cooktop. A deep full-size sink handles potable water and washing duties. There is even a shower/wash-down hookup in the rear of the van for the ideal al-fresco bath in warmer months. A dometic CFX fridge is provided for your convenience under the counter, along with an induction-friendly pan, cups, eating & cooking utensils for four... not to mention a family-friendly Boxio composting toilet with generous capacity.Last but not least -- cabin heating duties are handled by an Aquahot Hydronic Hot Water and Furnace system, which warms the cabin air without drying it out, even at higher elevations. For warmer months, a rooftop fan draws significant air through the cabin aided by 4 window screens as well as the magnetic side and rear screen enclosures. A Fiamma awning also provides secure passenger-side shade for the sunniest of days.We will continue to build on this van in coming months adding tasteful amenities that make sense and bring value to our family and yours. A first-time van driver friendly spot we love is Vail pass (Shrine Pass Road). Only 1.5 hours from Golden in the summer and has numerous campsites that are easy to access. Herman Gulch is another nearby favorite. For over-wintering or backcountry, many ski areas have nearby lots that allow overnight parking. Contact me for specific suggestions based on your adventure needs!Other things to noteNo smoking or pets inside the van, please and thank you! Additionally, rentals are only permitted to drive on EASY trails and forest roads. Absolutely no use on high-clearance or rock-crawling is allowed. It's also worth noting that the van's height does not allow parking in garages or going into drive-throughs. Indoor bike storage keeps bikes safe, but a trailer hitch is provided that may work with some bike racks IF you use an extender/swing-away system.

Boris was great! He gave us a great tutorial on how the Van operates. It has everything you need for basic camping. As a single parent, the van was a game changer as far as ease and convenience. Everything worked as described and was easy to operate. It was super comfortable driving for several hours.. The bed was comfortable for two people.. Good fridge space. No fussing around with charging batteries or refilling water. Clean, safe , and easy!

This van is incredible! We rented it to go to the Tetons and absolutely loved our experience. Boris is a fantastic host and so hospitable. The van drives like butter and is in impeccable condition, and the interior was perfect for what we were looking for. It felt like just the right balance of minimalist but also great comfort (I mean that hot water heater for outdoor showers was a true luxury). Would rent again in a heartbeat.
