Frequently asked questions

Q.

Are there any special tricks and tips that would help with operating the RV easily?

A.

We have created a 7 minute manual in video format that will explain and teach our guests everything they need to know when operating our campervans.

Q.

Where do I go to the restroom and shower?

A.

There are public beaches with free restrooms and outdoor showers at every beach/state park. At night, campsites will have restrooms and showers.

Q.

Do I need to book campsites?

A.

Yes, the campervan does not come with any parking. We send our guests a list of options for parking at night. The list includes Camp Mokuleia, private campsites on HipCamp, and beach/state campgrounds. Prices start at $20/night for a campsite on Oahu.

Q.

How do I get to your location from the Airport/Honolulu Area?

A.

Most of our guests take Uber or Lyft to and from our location in Hauula. It is a 50 minute drive and the price starts at $50 one way and goes up depending on the time of day and demand. Going from Hauula to Honolulu is usually less than Honolulu to Hauula. We always recommend guests wait 10-15 minutes if the price is outrageous. The city bus takes 2 hours and is $5.50. We recommend Google Maps to navigate.
