Let's start with a few questions to narrow down your options.

If you’re visiting Pisa, chances are you’re coming to see its emblematic Leaning Tower. This tower is actually the bell tower (or the campanile) of the city’s cathedral. It has leaned almost since its construction began, since its foundation is only about 10 feet deep and built on unstable soil. Construction began in 1174 but wasn’t finished until 1319. Today, this 180-foot tower has a four-degree tilt. In 1990, it was leaning to just over five degrees, prompting repairs.
But the Leaning Tower isn’t all that Pisa has to offer. A popular stop on the way to Florence, Pisa is home to 20 historic churches, many medieval palaces, and ornate bridges. Pisa was founded by the Etruscans over 2,000 years ago, so the whole area is steeped in history, from its architecture to its museums. It’s also surrounded by the beautiful Tuscan mountainous terrain on one side and the Mediterranean shore on another. Pisa has something for everyone, so it’s an ideal place to rent an RV and explore.
