Piggy--1952 Rod & Reel Canned Ham

Jemez SpringsNM

This is an unrestored vintage canned ham travel trailer. It is just awesome and in all original condition. It has a fully functional kitchen, dinette that converts to a bed, a bed in the back. At a tiny 13 feet it sleeps two easily but could sleep up to 4. Bring the family and bring your dog! We can provide you with a generator to take advantage of the electrical system or you can use the 12 volt lights in the trailer. Of note, there is no bathroom in the trailer so you'll need to use those provided at the campground. The refrigerator is an ice box, we will bring it to you with one block of ice, after that one melts you'll need to head to Amanda's General Store in La Cueva to get more :) This trailer will only be delivered by us to one of the local camp grounds in the Jemez Mountains. You will need to pick a location within 20 miles of the La Cueva Center. Delivery and pickup is included in your daily rent so no additional charges. This trailer is not available to be towed by anyone but us...sorry.

Trailer Cleaning Fee Required

We deliver our vintage trailers freshly cleaned inside and out. We charge a nominal cleaning fee after your rental term to come back around and sweep & scrub the interior of the trailer, remove and launder the linens, and reset all of the interior elements to trip-launch standards. We appreciate it when our clients leave us with a broom-swept floor, clean dishes, fully evacuated gray and black tanks, cloth-wiped bathroom fixtures, clean oven, and empty refrigerator. We’ll gladly refund the trailer cleaning fee for any renters who return the trailer to us in the same condition in which it was delivered, plus an expression of our greatest appreciation for your cleanliness!! (Note this cleaning fee does not cover deep cleaning or repairs needed after an accident such as spilled beverages, deep stains or damage to the interior or exterior of the trailer; any damages such as these will first be taken out of the security deposit, and beyond that, claimed through your Outdoorsy trip insurance policy.)

This was my first experience renting an RV, and a vintage one at that! I have lived in the Jemez area for many years but sold my home last year. I could let the house go, but not the area, so rented a beautiful vintage Airstream (Dimples), to camp in at a local campground, from Michael. He was...
