5.0This is our 4th trip with outdoorsey and this was the best rig we have rented yet. We’ve rented some nice vehicles in the past, including a kimbo camper, this is by far more practical and higher value. I am usually nervous about home made campers, but this one was perfect. It has a super practical layout and you’re never wondering where anything is or goes. I find a lot of vehicles have too little space, or the space is in the wrong places. This van was perfect, felt like there were tons of cupboards and space and everything belonged where it was. Zach supplies it with all the essential items to cook anything, indoor and outdoor. Full kitchen supplies, coffee maker, and outdoor gas burner and indoor electric burner. I am so happy we rented this rig. Highly recommend.

5.0My husband and I spent two weeks in this van, visiting a total of 10 national parks. It was our 5th time renting a campervan and this one was by far our favorite. The layout is thoughtful and convenient. The bed is very comfortable, allowing us to get solid rest every night before another day full of adventures. I highly recommend!

Frequently asked questions
Q.
What is the inverter and why is it in the van?
A.
The batteries store energy in DC and this powers most of the electronic in the van (lights, fan, fridge, USB outlets, water pump). The inverter converts DC power to AC power so that the stovetop and traditional "house" outlets are powered. There is a switch next to the battery monitor to turn on/off the inverter.
Q.
What is the switch on the left side of the dashboard?
A.
* Turn this switch off when the vehicle is not running * This switch turns on a battery charger that sends power from the car battery (the battery that starts the engine) to the RV batteries.
Q.
How does the toilet work?
A.
The toilet a composting toilet and is located under the bench seat. The cushion, bench top and front of bench are removable. Please keep solids in the back container and liquids in the front. The toilet paper is composting, please put this in the solids container. A vent van is always running and will pull smell and moisture out of the solids container.
