One of the most popular things to do on Martha's Vineyard is to go to the beach. The weather is typically quite pleasant in the summer, and the picturesque beaches are the perfect place to relax. Eastville Beach is the closest beach to the campground and is a very pleasant place to go swimming. There is also a much larger beach in Edgartown called State Beach. This beach has very mild waters, making it a good place for families. There are kayak and paddleboard rentals nearby if you want to get active out on the water.Biking is another very popular activity to enjoy while you camp in an RV near Martha's Vineyard. There are bike trails all over the island, and it's a very fun way to get from place to place while taking in the scenery. Manuel F. Correllus State Forest is located near the campsite and has several bike paths. For a longer bike ride, you can explore the loop from Vineyard Haven to Oak Bluffs and Edgartown. This is one of the most efficient ways to explore the area and get a workout in.When you book an RV in Dukes County, you should also make sure to stroll the gorgeous gardens in the area. The Felix Neck Wildlife Sanctuary is run by Audubon and is a great place to see local wildlife in its natural habitat. If you need to refuel your vehicle, there is a gas station in Vineyard Haven too.
